Gozynta Mobius 3.2 Feature Release

Mobius 3.2 is now available. This release brings improvements to ConnectWise Manage connection errors and QuickBooks Online invoices. It also includes some new preview features we’re working on such as customer portal login on your own domain, automatic invoicing for recurring contracts, and an easier way to manage customers and invoices.

Improvements

Clearer ConnectWise Manage connection errors

When Mobius can't reach your ConnectWise Manage server, you now see "A connection error occurred while communicating with ConnectWise Manage server. Please try again." instead of "Unknown Error - Contact Support." The error is also shown when you are taken back to the ConnectWise configuration screen, so it's clear what happened.

Fixes

Fixed an issue where both the company name and the company display name appeared on QuickBooks Online invoices.

Updates on new feature development

These are new features that are not yet in active use. We are working on being able to handle invoicing through Mobius. Here is what we’ve developed in this release.

Customer portal login on your own domain

Your customers can now sign in to their customer portal at an address you control, such as portal.yourcompany.com. Point your domain at the Mobius customer portal, and your customers log in there.

Contracts page and live data in the Payments portal

The Payments portal previously had an Invoices page and a Profile page. It now also has a Contracts page that lists all of your contracts with that customer, and it shows live data from Mobius.

Automatic invoicing for recurring contracts

When a recurring contract approaches the end of its current term, Mobius now renews it and creates the invoice for you. The contract's paid-through date moves forward by its renewal term, and the next invoice date is set automatically.

Dedicated pages for customers, invoices, contracts and products/services

Each of these now has its own page with all of its details and actions in one place. Actions that used to live in the side panel have moved onto these pages. The product/service page is a first version, with more fields to come.

Search customers by name or email

The customer overview now has a search bar. One search covers both name and email, so searching "pat" finds customers whose name matches and customers with a user whose email matches.

Simpler invoice creation

• Mobius now assigns invoice numbers automatically. You no longer enter one, and the number appears once the invoice is saved.
• Status is no longer selectable when you create an invoice, so a new invoice can't be created as already paid.
